My name is Michael Morris, I was born at Kingston Jubilee Hospital, In Kingston. Jamaica and was raised in Jones Town. I attended Holy Family Primary School, and was
Transferred to Holy Trinity Secondary, during that time I was a member of the holy trinity cadet core playing the bugle. I was one of the best players in the band. I was also a member of the saint Anne’s band, located on Percy Street in Hannah Town. Music has always been a part of my life. Ever since I was born, I love music, and always wanted to sing, but I just didn’t have the courage to do so. Life was hard growing up, my mother had ten children whom she raised all alone, there was no father around to help, which made it very hard. With the help of my grandmother Yaya, I was able to overcome certain obstacles in life. At the age of twenty nine I migrated to the United States. Shortly after, my mom past away, I was devastated. I always had in the back of my mind that one day I would make an album. I watch the news every day and with all the violence going on around the world, and the disaster of Katrina lyric started to come to my mind and, with the support of my family and friends I was able to complete my first album, this album is base on roots, culture, and reality and I hope that people will listen to it and the world will come together and live as one.  It's all about love, careing, and respect. I have now accomplished my dream. I now feel that there is no holding me back, there is more to come.
