My music production began in the late 90`s when I spent my student loan to buy a Mc 303,

It was a heaven sent, piece of kit.

At that time I started clubbing and hitting the bars.

Exposing me to dance music.

As time went by my kit list increased Currently I have :-

  • RM1X

  • Quasimidi Sirius

  • Boss SP-505 Sampler

  • Oberheim OB-12

  • Novation Nova

  • NS10 Monitor speakers

  • 2x Technics 1210

  • Mixers, out board processers etc, etc.

All my music on Audio Odyssey, represents my sudden progression from 100% hardware instruments to 100% Software.

I had tried Cubase Vst didn't liked it, Logic was to awkward,

Reason to Complicated. But the day I used Ableton Live changed

my opinion of software music production

The way Live function with it “Cells” and “Rows”

Is exactly the same way that old hardware sequencers

Like the mc303 or the Rm1x works.

I just struggle with the linear time lines as used by

The industry Standard sequencers like Cubase and logic.

My Current kit list:-

  • A fast dual core Toshiba laptop running a customized stripped down version of XP

  • Ableton Live 5 (I can not wait for live 6 coming out in a couple of weeks)

  • M-Audio  Firewire  Audiophile.
  • Loads of Vst plugins and instruments.
  • Hardware controllers etc, etc.

I use this setup for live gigs, Djing, Location recording, everything.

Music is constantly progressing, Move with it or get left behind.

I currently have three EP`s on iTunes at the moment,
