I played almost only SYNTHARSIS tracks. I had no major problems with audio and monitor adjustments so the sound quality was very good. However, one time during the concert, the volume level went drasticly low. But it was only for a moment. Well...live concerts. So, big thank you for all who came and had fun on the concert. And see you maybe soon on more concerts.

I have played bluegrass, now, for 30 years! I met Mr. Monroe at my grandfather's church where he was deacon 50 years ago, got saved, & hooked on bluegrass ever since! Picked up the guitar at age 13 after piano lessons, & alto sax in band! Then, at age 15, started playing for gas $$$ - still do!!  I have my own music publishing company, DJ 3 Internet radio stations, & would LOVE to be able to make some $$$ doing what I LOVE _ music!!

En  el año 1989 en la escena rockera colombiana y en especial en la bogotana se movían una gran cantidad de músicos  y  bandas en busca de encontrar y perfeccionar un sonido original que le diera identidad al movimiento del rock nacional.

Inicialmente influenciados por el concepto de las grandes bandas inglesas y alemanas ( Deep Purple,Black Sabbath,Accept,etc.) estos grupos van logrando encontrar un sonido propio que poco a poco va creando una sólida base a lo que hoy es el rock colombiano.

En medio de esta gran cantidad de propuestas sonoras nace el grupo HADES , fundado por el guitarrista Hugo Alvarez junto con Arturo Rodríguez en el bajo, Joaquín Betancourth en la voz, Fernando Rodríguez en la guitarra y Gustavo Garzón en la batería.

Desde sus comienzos la banda logra impactar bastante duro en la escena bogotana debido a la fuerza rítmica que imprime a sus canciones, así como el contenido de sus letras, que reflejan el sentir de gran parte del público que asiste a sus conciertos.

También la puesta en escena de los temas y la potencia de su sonido en vivo hacen que HADES sea considerada como una de las bandas de mayor calidad dentro del movimiento rockero nacional.

En 1991 se lanza la primera grabación de estudio en formato demo, que contiene la canción 

´´ Voces en la niebla ´´ logrando gran difusión en las emisoras locales ( 88.9, Radioactiva) y generando una gran polémica por su contenido lirico.

En 1993 se graba un documental en formato de cine ( 16 mm ), llamado  ´´ Warrior ´´ en el que se muestra un grupo mucho más poderoso y con un sonido bastante original.

En 1994 HADES firma su primer contrato discográfico con BMG Ariola, convirtiéndose así en la primera banda de Heavy Metal nacional en obtener un contrato con una multinacional, se graba el álbum HADES con algunos cambios en su formación original.

Este álbum cuenta con nueve temas, entre los cuales está la balada  ´´ El gran ausente ´´ que tiene buen impacto en las emisoras y entre el público en general, ésta canción es posteriormente incluida en una compilación hecha por Pepsi y 88.9, durante estos años la banda realiza alrededor de 380 conciertos en Bogotá y en diferentes ciudades del país participando en las dos primeras versiones de Rock al Parque , tocando en el festival de VOZ  ,en Tunja, Du ítama ,Sogamoso, Líbano y en una gran cantidad de bares, también resulta ganador  de algunos festivales  de colegios de la ciudad.

Hay luego un receso en el grupo entre el 98 y 2002 para volver en 2003, de allí se inicia una nueva etapa en el grupo , su guitarrista y fundador  Hugo Alvarez   lanza al mercado una recopilación titulada ´´ HADES UNDERGROUND  90´´s ´´ que incluye una remasterización de algunos temas grabados antes y otros en concierto. 

Se graba también el programa ´´ El show de las estrellas ´´ de Jorge Barón y después ´´ Mucha Música ´´ de City TV. HADES ha participado en las ultimas tres versiones de la

´´ Caminata de la Solidaridad ´´ y en los conciertos del ´´ Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro ´´.                                                                                                     

EN 2008 HADES vuelve a su formación original y se encuentra en la en la preproducción de su nuevo álbum que se espera esté en el mercado hacia marzo de 2009, para ese año se está programando la realización de un concierto tributo a HADES en sus 20 años que contará con la presencia de algunas de las bandas más reconocidas en la actualidad.

These are just a few of the many questions I get from time to time, and feel as though they undeniably need answering.

I chose "Loveless" because I realized that some of the best music and lyrics I write come out of heartbreak, falling out of love, being dumped, or void of emotional attachment. I can also say that some of my best music and lyrics come from love. However, no one can know what my 'love' or someone else's love feels like because we all experience love in our own way. But, universally, we all know what a broken heart feels like. It the reason for the name of the band. It's the reason for some of the names of songs, and lines of lyrics. Love, whether in love or out of love, is the reason I do what I do, write what I write, and sing what I sing.

I never intended the name of the band to be in any way negative, or depressing. In fact, the songs prove that Loveless Sound's music is just the opposite. In many songs, there is a distinct happy sound that echos through verses or is harmonized in choruses. I'd also like to express that although it may not feel good, being loveless isn't always a bad thing. As I said, this is where a lot of my good music writing comes from. It could also bring about something positive to someone else's life. It is in these times that we find ourselves. We truly look at the bigger picture, ask the harder questions, try to find something substantial in our own lives, realize self truths, and reveal more of ourselves to others.

So, in conclusion, to snuff out any misleading assumptions on the band's name, I have chosen "Loveless Sound" because that's what I know. The band was created for myself and myself alone. It is a project fully devoted towards music and the creation of something I consider to be beautiful. It is a collaboration of my works and presented only to those who choose to listen. I'm not here to take over the world. I'm only trying to make this small, pathetic, little time of my life in this world a little more enjoyable, adaptable, and endurable for myself. The music is the sound from the 'loveless' or raw emotions we all feel from time to time. The 'loveless sound' IS the music - written of the soul, taken of true feeling, and sang with an unrestricted unveiling of myself for myself.
